Mario Quiroz is a documentary photographer specializing in immigration issues in the U.S. Some of his projects are: “Domestic Workers: The Invisible Wheels that Empower our Economy,” “Immigrants: A Common Wealth of Mas- sachusetts,” “Travelers: Love Tales from Salvadoran Immigrants,” and “Aging Minority in Massachusetts.” He has part- nered with the MIRA Coalition, Centro Presente, the Student Immigrant Movement, the Chinese Progressive Associ- ation, the Boston Workmen’s Circle Center for Jewish Culture and Social Justice, SEIU 32BJ, and AFL-CIO. Quiroz’s work is part of the permanent collection of the Fitchburg Art Museum. Quiroz holds a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from Lesley University College of Arts and Design
